Italian cuisine is always popular. Try these Italian flavors combined with mashed potatoes.

Ingredients Italian mash bowl (10 servings)

  • 1 kg Aviko Premium Super Mash
  • 200 g salami (sausage)
  • 80 g black olives without stones
  • 6 basil leaves
  • 125 g sun-dried tomatoes in oil (jar)
  • 40 g Parmesan cheese
  • Grater

Preparation method

15 minutes

  • Heat the frozen mashed potatoes according to the instructions on the packaging.
  • Dice the salami, olives and tomatoes.
  • Finely chop the leaves of the basil sprigs.  Grate the cheese.
  • Stir ¾ of the salami, olives, tomatoes, basil and cheese into the puree. the puree.  Season with pepper.
  • Spoon the mash onto 4 plates and garnish with the rest of the salami, olives, tomatoes, basil and cheese.

Tip: Add a little olive oil for that extra Italian flavor
