Rösti round with tuna salad and roasted red onion

  • Ingredients

    4 Aviko Röstiko Rounds
    1 red onion
    2 tsp olive oil
    1 small shallot
    1 tsp capers
    100 grams of tuna steak in olive oil
    (drained, canned)
    2 tbsp crème fraiche
    1 sprig of dill

METHOD

  1. Prepare the hash browns according to the instructions on the package. The rounds can also be roasted in about 10 minutes.
  2. Peel the onion and cut into 1cm wedges. Brush the onion wedges thinly with the olive oil. Roast the onion wedges on the barbecue or in a grill pan for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked and golden brown.
  3. In the meantime, chop the shallot very finely. Finely chop the capers. Mix the tuna with the shallot, capers and crème fraiche. 
  4. Season the tuna salad with salt and pepper. Roughly chop the dill. Place the hash browns on a platter. Top them with the tuna salad and the roasted red onion. Sprinkle with the coarsely chopped dill.


Tip: Season the tuna salad with a pinch of dried chili flakes.
